Richly textured Gold Togo leather and Palladium hardware. Created for the re-opening of the Madison Avenue Hermes Store in 2022. A true nod to the creative whimsy and innovative imagination of Hermes.

The Bolide predates the Birkin or the Kelly bag. It was created in 1923 and was the first bag to feature a zipper. As luggage for the beginning of the automobile era it was named “le sac pour l’auto”. The word Bolide translates to comet, a popular nickname for sports cars. For the grand re-opening of the Hermes Madison Avenue boutique, this mini Bolide on Wheels was produced as a limited edition.
